Research Assistant (RA)

Responsibilities include administering neuropsychological test batteries to individuals with either traumatic brain injuries (TBI) or multiple sclerosis (MS); running behavioral paradigms in neuroimaging (fMRI, fNIRS) studies; conducting neuropsychological data analyses; recruiting participants; scheduling and coordinating study visits; managing electronic and paper databases; and communicating with study team members. Opportunities for presentations exist. The RA position is ideal for those planning to continue their education in psychology, medicine, or other health-related disciplines.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related discipline; proficient computer skills (especially Word and Excel); and excellent administrative, problem-solving, and communication skills. Candidates must be comfortable working in a medical setting. Interest and/or previous experience in research, rehabilitation, motor function, cognitive psychology, or neurologic disabilities is preferred. Experience/familiarity with data analysis software is a plus.
