Contact Jean Lengenfelder, Ph.D.
Jean Lengenfelder Brenner, Ph.D. is a Clinical Research Scientist in the Neuropsychology and Neuroscience Laboratory at Kessler Research Center.
Dr. Lengenfelder's clinical and research interests have been in examining the impact of executive functioning on learning new information following neurological injury or disease. Dr. Lengenfelder's current interests involve information processing speed and working memory in individuals with multiple sclerosis, age and gender differences in learning and memory, and the impact of executive functions and organizational abilities in learning and memory following traumatic brain injury. She is also incorporating neuroimaging techniques such as functional neuroimaging and optical tomography imaging to examine her research questions. Dr. Lengenfelder has been awarded a grant from the National Institute of Health and is a member of the American Psychological Association, International Neuropsychological Society and the National Academy of Neuropsychology.
